Ms. Layla S. Doman is currently an Information Technology professional supporting the World Bank, in Washington, DC. She provides system support for all UNIX/Linux based software providing optimum system performance and availability.
Layla’s passion for education and personal finances led her to further her knowledge and understanding in this area, through the Certified Financial Planner course at Georgetown University School of Continuing Studies. Her goal is to assist individuals in learning to apply financial planning knowledge in an integrated approach to real-life financial planning situations; and advise individuals, families, and small businesses on financial issues so they can move forward in debt freedom.
Ms. Doman fulfills her passion by serving as a financial literacy trainer through Sojourner Financial Solutions. She educates and empowers others to effectively manage their personal finances by helping them set achievable financial goals and purposefully plan their spending.
Layla is a proud alumna of Howard University, where she holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Systems Engineering and has a Master of Science in Management and Technology from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She is also a Ramsey Preferred Coach having completed the Financial Coach Master Training through Ramsey Solutions.
Ms. Doman is an avid cyclist and competitive age group triathlete. She serves as the Treasurer of the Sun Gate Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides financial assistance to survivors of human trafficking.
